Exhibit Submission Guidance

The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development, Equal Rights Division (ERD) uses an electronic case management system to store all case-related documents. When submitting case-related documents, exhibits, and audio, video, or image files, please follow these instructions closely to help avoid delays in processing your case.

File Sharing

The Equal Rights Division utilizes a file sharing service, WIBox, provided by the Department of Administration for select cases. If you need to transfer files to the Equal Rights Division please contact your Investigator or Administrative Law Judge for access.

Online Hearings

The Equal Rights Division developed the online hearing process to supplement the traditional face-to-face hearing process currently unavailable due to social distancing guidelines resulting from the COVID-19 health crisis.

Online Complaints

The Equal Rights Division now offers electronic complaint filing for Labor Standards and some Civil Rights Complaints.

Case Portal

The Equal Rights Division offers case parties access to information about their case, including case status, in our Case Portal.

Work Permits

The Equal Rights Division offers representatives for 14 and 15 year-olds to request a work permit online.

Application Directory

While the agency moves applications to a more modern and secure account management system the Equal Rights Division created an application directory to inform users which ID was needed for each application.
