Massage therapy is a great pathway for people seeking a rewarding career in a fast growing complementary and integrative health care industry. Currently there is a high demand for massage therapists, great income potential, flexible hours, a variety of potential work settings, opportunities for growth, and work that allows you to improve the physical and mental well-being of others. Bay College is proud to be an Assigned School through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and BodyWork (NCBTMB). This 625-hour massage program prepares students for the Massage and BodyWork Licensure Examination (MBLEX). The MBLEX exam is separate from this program. The Massage Therapy Program at Bay College reserves the right to cancel due to insufficient enrollment. It is never Bay College's intent to cancel a course, but course enrollment must be met in order to offer the program. In the case of a course cancellation, you will be notified 10 days prior to the scheduled class date and a full refund will be issued within 30 days.

PLEASE NOTE:

MAKING SENSE OF THE EMPLOYMENT OUTCOMES:

"Average quarterly wages" means the total wages earned in a three-month period by all students who completed the program ("completers"), divided by the total number of completers.

"Median quarterly wages" means all the completers' quarterly wages are placed in order from lowest to highest and then we identify the student's wages in the middle. This information is provided because averages can be greatly influenced by really high and low wage earners.

To estimate monthly wages, divide the quarterly wages by three.
